Thanks for stopping by! My series, Antius Ascending, is comprised of two novels and a book of short prequels. The novels, Sovereign and Sovereign: The Offering, are a complete duology, and Sovereign: The Prequels is comprised of short companion stories that take place prior to Sovereign but are best enjoyed as sequels. You’ll also find my short stories “Martial Law” in Prep For Doom and “The Slip” in The Doomsday Chronicles. Hope you enjoy!

Sovereign

(Antius Ascending Series, Book 1)

Chemical warfare has obliterated most of the world, including America, and the survivors have turned into feral beasts, save one colony, Antius, the last remnant of civilization. Seventeen-year-old Cori (aka Citizen 1206) only longs for wide open spaces and freedom. But Antius has no use for such things, just mindless drones to serve in a place with walls, fences, and laws. A lot of laws, which Cori constantly breaks. So she’s spent years plotting her escape, which is the only thing that will save her from the colony’s deranged leader, Nathan. She isn’t looking to be a hero, and she certainly isn’t looking to fall in love, but she just might do both.

Sovereign: The Offering

(Antius Ascending Series, Book 2)

Consumed by guilt from a war she started, Cori faces the aftermath of her destruction. The Mercy colony is in shambles as infection spreads and Dylan struggles to find a cure before it’s too late. Cori’s love and loyalties are put to the test when he asks her for the unthinkable. Now faced with impossible decisions, Cori must risk her friends and everything she’s ever cared about in order to put things right. She’ll go to unimaginable lengths to save the innocent, no matter the cost.

Sovereign: The Prequels

(Antius Ascending Series, Companion Stories)

Long before Antius, Nathan Burke is driven by his need to be acknowledged by his father. One catastrophic mistake by this villain-in-the-making sparks the fall of civilization. Years later, well into the apocalypse and all its fallout, Karen discovers a boy named Tyce while working with the City’s kids. The two of them witness firsthand the brutal aggression of the savage males. And just two years before Corinne Cole would join the Guard as his trainee, Titus risks everything, breaking Antius’s laws when he falls for someone he is not allowed to touch.

This compilation includes three short stories told from the perspectives of one hated and two beloved Sovereign characters. The stories are prequels to the Antius Ascending Series, though they are best enjoyed as sequels, as they do contain spoilers.

Prep For Doom

Prep For Doom is a unique anthology that was born out of the camaraderie that exists among the authors of BOD. It all started with a discussion, bouncing ideas around in a group thread. What we wound up with was an anthology that told an interconnected story via chapters by individual authors (20 of us), each from different character perspectives of the same apocalyptic event. We’re all so proud of this project, and it was my great privilege to have been the project lead and managing editor of this book.
